1. Hot wax or liquid wax?
Liquid wax is designed for customers who prefer a particularly simple application. After an initial degreasing, the chain wax is applied like oil. Reapplication is recommended every 150-200 km. We offer chain waxes ranging from basic to high-end graphene-infused products, matching the friction and cleanliness performance of traditional hot wax.
For hot wax, the chain needs to be removed from the bike and immersed in the hot wax bath every 800-1000 km. Our graphene and graphite hot wax chains offer the lowest possible friction, slightly surpassing our liquid wax! Our graphene hot wax sets new standards for friction reduction and is specifically designed for racing. The graphite hot wax, developed as a budget-friendly alternative, is ideal for daily rides and extended component lifespan.
Hybrid Solution:
-
Use hot wax daily and extend the rewaxing interval with liquid wax.
-
Use liquid wax for daily rides and reserve hot wax for races.
